Guidelines for the conferment of senior status

The Legal Practice Council (LPC) would like to inform all legal practitioners that the guidelines for the recommendation of conferment of senior status on legal practitioners, as prescribed by Council in terms of section 8.2 of Council’s Code of Conduct, have been placed on its website. The draft guidelines for the conferment of senior status were gazetted for comment on 27 March 2020. The Council would like to thank all interested parties who commented on the draft.
